 By definition the cosmos are the universe specifically represented by order as opposed to chaos and encompass the purpose of existence by means of religious philosophical and spiritual viewpoints. 
 
 This title was chosen before I realized this is the full meaning of the cosmos and yet it means everything to me as a spiritual practitioner.
 
 Using rich sorbet modern retro 80’s palettes I interpreted the motion of the cosmos through space using beautifully contrasted tones.
 
 A graduate of UCLA World Arts and Cultures/Dance department Amrapali Ambegaokar is a West Coast native raised in an artist family in culturally diverse sunny Los Angeles. 
 
 With influences from the fashion, world dance, music and film and those Santa Monica sunsets, Amrapali captures images reminiscent of Indian saree prints, candy colored LA sunsets as the formation of a cosmic explosion using a retro 80s millennial rainbow palette in delicious ice cream shades in the abstract form to invoke a sense play, splendor and youthfulness.
 
 A performing artist since childhood as the former principal dancer of Cirque Du Soleil Amrapali grew up dancing, playing classical music, costume design, writing poetry and painting in the watercolor and acrylic medium and has won first place for her watercolor creation in California from NASA.
